The coming days’ trips are generated every day from the schedules, with a report of anything that could not be generated. Annual leave and sick leave switch off a date range without touching the schedule.

Employee transport, answered
How does the employee list get into RouteMill?
Import the spreadsheet the client sends (.xlsx, .xls or .csv) and map its columns once. The import template is saved, so next time the new list goes straight in, and existing schedules are updated rather than duplicated.
Can employees ride fixed routes?
Yes. Build a route template with its stops and times, use it every weekday or a different one on Saturday, and assign each day to a vehicle. The trips are generated day after day.
What happens when someone is on leave or changes shift?
An exception switches off a date range without touching the schedule, and rotating rosters such as odd and even weeks or multi-week cycles are supported.
Can we invoice the client per route?
The planning tool shows kilometres, vehicle and driver costs and CO2 per vehicle, empty and loaded kilometres separately, and your trips can be exported to Excel for invoicing.
