Backend Developer

Description

RouteMill seeks a skilled backend developer to advance the Mobility as a Service platform's server-side infrastructure. The role offers involvement in architectural design and implementation while collaborating with the CTO in an agile Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop server-side solutions for a globally distributed, complex system
• Work with Java and MySQL database architecture
• Contribute to microservices using Redis and MySQL
• Participate in designing server infrastructure
• Engage in transaction-intensive system development

Required Qualifications

• University-level software development education
• Extensive object-oriented programming experience (Java preferred but not mandatory)
• Server programming expertise with database connectivity
• Strong understanding of scalability and performance principles
• Independent work capability and strong drive

Preferred Skills

• AWS, ElasticSearch, Node.js, and JavaScript experience
• HTML5, PHP, SSL, and MySQL proficiency
• Background with high-transaction systems
